[LIVESTRONG] Diem Brown shared the story of her visit to D.C. and her participation in the Google+ Hangout on the Affordable Care Act on her “People Magazine” blog. In 2002 she bought a cheap insurance plan and has not been able to switch plans since due to her diagnosis. With the implementation of ACA, people with pre-existing conditions that would not have been picked up prior, like her, will now be able to choose a new plan that may be more suitable.
